Less than Perfect Slippers

I know it's nearly springtime, but it is still very much winter here in Edmonton. I wear slippers ALL the time -at home and at work! So today I made these slippers.

I admit that these slippers did not turn out the way I had hoped. I was hoping they would be so magnificent that I could create a PDF pattern for you to make your own. But it's back to the drawing board for me. I'll need to learn from my mistakes, tweak, and try them again.

Even though I consider these slippers a failure, I still wanted to share them with you! People need to know that not every project turns out perfectly. And the blogging world, as magical as it is sometimes, can be a trap for a perfectionist like me. So here it is. My very imperfect project. But guess what? They keep my feet warm!
