Turn an Old Necklace into Earrings

Here's a quick little project for all that jewelry sitting in your jewelry box that you never wear anymore. Or for that necklace you broke and SWORE you'd fix. Or maybe it's just an excuse to buy ridiculous costume jewelry from the thrift store. You can turn them into earrings!

Here is my poor little broken necklace I purchased a few years ago at a thrift store. It's been sitting in a little baggie for a while now, waiting patiently to be made pretty again.

I chose a few of my favourite beads from this necklace and played around with different options until I found something I liked. I don't do tonnes of jewelry or bead work, so I just worked with the supplies I had on hand.

The great part about using beads from an old necklace is that you can make more than one pair! And you can share them with friends!
