Lace Wrapped Bangle Bracelet

Have you ever made thread-wrapped bracelets? I had some bangle bracelets sitting in a pile of old jewelry and have been wanting to give it a try. I ended up experimenting a bit and came up with 3 variations of thread-wrapped bracelets. I'll be sharing all 3 this week!

For my first bracelet, I used the same technique as thread-wrapping, but used lace instead of thread. Here is how you can make your very own.

What You'll Need:
-a wide bangle bracelet
-approx. 30 inches of 1 1/8 inch wide lace trim
-E6000 glue
-toothpick
-scissors

Start by applying a bit of glue to the inside edge of your bracelet.

Place one end of your lace trim on top of the glue on a diagonal.

Apply a bit more glue to the inside edge, and wrap your lace around the bracelet so that the edges of your lace are not overlapping, but just touching.

Continue applying glue and wrapping the lace around the entire bracelet until you reach the end.

Trim your lace so that the end will tuck on the inside of the bracelet. Apply a generous amount of glue to the inside of the bracelet and press the lace end in.

Now you have a beautiful lace-wrapped bangle bracelet!

See you on Wednesday for another lace-wrapped style of bracelet.
