Top Picks From April's BOTM

I want to learn to crochet. I have some issues with yarn, but I'll need to get over them so I can get started on these great crochet projects. I've started collecting some ideas as part of my Pinterest Board of the Month (BOTM), and here are a few of my favourites.

Want to know my favourite part about these beginner crochet baskets from Lisa at The Red Thread? They're made out of fabric! So if I want to crochet and avoid dealing with my yarn issues, she provides a nice little tutorial on how to make fabric yarn and fabric rope. Hooray! There is hope for me!

I love this: flannel receiving blankets with a crocheted edge! I feel like this is a great way to link sewing, embroidery and crochet into one project. Thanks to Laura at the Purl Bee for her tutorial.
