Spring at Edith & Kaye

I have been busy creating some new spring products for my Etsy shop and for the Mercer Collective this past weekend. I have been up past my elbows in beautiful florals, lace and spring colours! I wanted to share with you a few things that you can expect to see in my shop very soon.

Lace + florals = perfection. I am so pleased with how these scarves turned out, and I've received some great feedback on these already, so thank you! I also did a more punchy version of this scarf with a bright blue lace and an orange ombre chiffon -check it out!

My headbands were a popular choice here in Alberta over the winter months. I decided to create some for spring using a lighter weight fabric. And some lace of course -I just can't get enough! I also made some with floral accent fabrics.

I've been playing around with some leather and it's been fun. I tested out embroidering onto leather and am quite pleased with the result. What do you think?

Lastly: earrings, earrings, EARRINGS! I was so happy to make another batch of these fabric-covered button earrings. Some are basic, others floral, a number of lace ones, but the embroidered ones are my favourite! Yes, I hand-embroidered each one of them. I'm that kind of crazy.

I just have to say that spring is so much more my style. Nothing against winter (*cough), but there is something about spring colours and patterns that just put a smile on my face.

There will be lots more coming over the next few weeks, so be sure to visit my shop again soon. Something about this nice weather has made me feel quite inspired. I can't wait to get going on my new ideas and inspirations!
